Hydrotherapy & Aquatic Physiotherapy in Gwelup

Lake Gwelup Physiotherapy provides hydrotherapy and aquatic physiotherapy programs for patients in Gwelup and across Perth’s northern suburbs, including Karrinyup, Stirling, Balcatta, Innaloo and Carine.

Hydrotherapy uses the properties of warm water - including buoyancy and gentle resistance - to support movement and exercise in a reduced weight-bearing environment. It may assist with improving mobility, strength and confidence with movement where land-based exercise is difficult or uncomfortable.

Our hydrotherapy sessions form part of an individualised physiotherapy and rehabilitation program and are conducted at a heated pool at Kirby Swim Karrinyup.

Experienced Hydrotherapy Physiotherapy

Hydrotherapy services at Lake Gwelup Physiotherapy are led by principal physiotherapist Chris Warne, who has undertaken additional post-graduate training in hydrotherapy and aquatic physiotherapy and has more than a decade of experience providing hydrotherapy classes and individualised aquatic rehabilitation programs across multiple pools throughout Perth’s northern suburbs.

This extensive clinical experience allows for carefully tailored hydrotherapy programs that are safe, progressive and aligned with each patient’s condition, goals and stage of recovery.
