Chris is an experienced physiotherapist with over a decade in private practice, the majority of which has been dedicated to serving the Gwelup community. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomical Sciences from the University of Western Australia. His career spans both sports and private practice settings, giving him a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of musculoskeletal health.

Physiotherapy is more than just a career for Chris—it’s his passion. He is committed to staying current with the latest developments in the field to provide the highest quality care in a friendly and professional environment. Chris is known for delivering clear, easy-to-understand explanations of injuries and treatment plans, empowering his patients with the knowledge they need for recovery and prevention.

Clinically, Chris enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on back and neck pain, headaches, and sports injuries. He also has a strong interest in post-operative rehabilitation and the management of vertigo.

Chris takes pride in helping patients return to full function—whether that means elite sport, recreational activity, or work. Outside the clinic, he’s a dedicated sports enthusiast who enjoys watching AFL and cricket, or spending time outdoors.

Chris Warne and Chris Imms are long-time friends and trusted physiotherapy colleagues. When Chris Warne takes annual leave, Chris Imms steps in to ensure patients at Lake Gwelup Physiotherapy continue to receive the same high standard of care.

Chris Imms is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong academic and professional background in human movement and health. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University, following an earlier degree in Physiology, Anatomy, and Human Biology from the University of Western Australia.

Chris has gained diverse experience across private practice, sports, and FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) physiotherapy roles. Over time, he has developed a particular interest in Occupational Health.
His expertise spans ergonomic assessments, workplace wellness programs, manual handling education, pre-employment functional assessments, injury prevention strategies, injury management, rehabilitation programs, and on-site physiotherapy services.

With a holistic approach to workplace health, Chris is passionate about helping individuals and organisations improve function, reduce injury risk, and support sustainable recovery.
