Dry Needling

The term “dry needling” refers to the use of acupuncture needles within western medicine, which is different to “acupuncture” which is based on traditional Chinese medicine. Dry needling involves the insertion of acupuncture needles into soft tissue to treat musculoskeletal pain/injuries. Lake Gwelup Physiotherapists have undertaking additional Australian Physiotherapy Associated accredited dry needling training and partake in regular ongoing education to ensure our techniques are up to date and refined.
